Okay, friends!
We have almost made it out of the winter months and spring will be here before we know it!
If you are anything like me–winter can be hard with the cold, gloomy, gray weather. I’m a Florida sunny beach girl at heart. Give me a little sunshine and my mood increases by 110%.
As a photographer, this is “slow” season. Unless you have an event or a milestone, beach sessions are very limited and this season is all about home and cozy vibes.
Not many people think an in home session could be “worth” the investment. You always picture a gorgeous backdrop to your family photos.
BUT you don’t need that. Your home is the heart of the family -the place where memories are truly made everyday, so why not have a session there and document it!
As a military family, we moved a bunch when the kids were small and I wish I had documented more in those moments. The spaces where we spent most of our time, cooking, snuggling reading books, and having fun.
