I hate to even say it–the summer is coming to an end.
Fall starts on September 22nd and I am offering MINI sessions on the 20th!
Morning minis at the pier are a fun, quick, and easy session for the kids and the entire family.
These sessions are great for announcements, seniors, maternity, mom+me, and family portraits!
So how does the session go?
Starting at the waters edge I capture the family together in both posed and lifestyle captures. I then break it down and get each parent with the kids.
Usually by this point the kids need a “break” and we let them play in the sand while the parents get their photos together.
Kids and the beach–means smiles and playing. So–we take their lead, but I have some fun prompts to make sure we get the kids together and separate for their portraits.
At the end of the session we finally dip our toes in the ocean! These lifestyle captures are great for family play poses, kids jumping, dancing, and just having fun!
I always suggest bringing suits for the kids for playtime after the session or just a towel/extra clothes for the ride home.
Sessions usually take about 15-20 minutes and that is it! You get to stay and play or head off to get some breakfast or brunch.
